GLOBAL MIX COCKTAILS & TAPAS is born from the need to show a bit of the Portuguese inheritance to the English palate. Using English local organic products and premium products from established Portuguese and Spanish companies in England, GLOBAL MIX COCKTAILS & TAPAS want to reproduce some of the best recipes and dishes from the Iberia peninsula in small, vibrant, fresh and delicious dishes.

Portugal has one of the biggest cultures in the world, influenced by other cultures from the time of the discoveries and colonial times. From Asia, Africa and South America, GLOBAL MIX COCKTAILS & TAPAS wants to bring a tropical twist to the usual cocktail making and presentation, bringing products, flavours and colours outside of the classical sphere.

Open every Monday and Tuesday 9-4pm

Sunday roast twice a month starting September 30th with a choice of 3 vegan options and lots of seasonal vegetables.

Followed by homemade yummy desserts.

Saturday night supper club. Starting September 29th with a tasting evening for vegans and non vegans alike

Axminster & Lyme Regis Cancer Support Group

Axminster and Lyme Cancer Support aims to provide support for everyone living with and beyond cancer. We offer regular friendly meetings both in Axminster and Lyme Regis so support and information can be accessed locally.

Please join us at our Lyme Regis drop-in session where you can enjoy a friendly welcome, a tea and a chat. You will have an opportunity to meet the team and hear about activities and therapies available. Tea and coffee will be available and a selection of literature.

The Monmouth Table

The Monmouth Table was born on the pebbles of Monmouth beach in Lyme Regis, Dorset.

It is a project that aims to bring seasonal and honest food  in and around the Jurassic Coast with pop up dining events cooked by chef Annie Coplestone and served by Carlotta Paolieri.

Annie started her cooking career exactly in this area, working at River Cottage when she was 19 years old and moving later to the River Cafe’ in Hammersmith. She then headed to Barcelona where she lived and worked until last year, before returning to the UK to work at Moro in London.

She brings back to her hometown her passion for locally sourced produce and fresh Mediterranean flavours. She can generally be heard laughing  from several towns away.

Carlotta worked in London for over 10 years in the hospitality business.  Starting as waitress at Sketch in Conduit Street, she worked  her way up as bartender and manager in various bars and restaurants before heading to Australia for a yearS experience.  She moved back to the UK with her smile unscathed and willing to put her experience into practice.

The Monmouth Table believes in freshly cooked  food bursting with flavours to share with your fellow diners served with a friendly and relaxed service.

Because we are born on the sea, we mostly cook fish.  Our other ingredients fare from organic local farms.
